Dave Bartholet, a self-taught artist, showed up on the planet in 1949. Having spent his early childhood in Wyoming, his love for wildlife was forged from the get-go.
In 1971 he started his journey as a professional artist selling his original watercolors through galleries and eventually art shows throughout the west. His loose style of watercolors has proven to be very popular to an estimated 100,000 households that collect his work.

The heron feathers are so detailed it looks like they were painted with a single hair. The colors are realistic and perfect. The wood slats were further apart than I expected, but it is still a beautiful piece of art. I would buy it again.
I love this piece! I was concerned about it arriving on time because I ordered it at the last minute. Communicating with the shop was easy, they responded right away that they could get it to me in time. It arrived even sooner than expected. The print is clear and the colors are as vivid as they appear online. The piece is lighter in weight than expected and will make it that much easier to hand. I would definitely shop here again.
